What does the CE mark for windows and doors?

The CE mark for external doors and windows, as specified by the reference standard EN 14351/1, is a manufacturer's declaration of fixtures on the compliance pursuant to its products, and then to meet the essential requirements set out in the European Directive of reference issued by the CEN (European Organization for Standardization), so as to ensure a minimum level of quality to which all must follow.

What are the performance requirements that must have a window in accordance with the CE mark?

Mechanical resistance and stability.
Safety in case of fire.
Hygiene, health, environment.
Safety in use.
Protection against noise.
Energy saving and heat retention.

What are the mandatory laboratory testing for a window or door required by the CE marking?

Air permeability (EN 12207, EN 1026).
Water tightness (EN 12208, EN 1027).
To wind loads resistance (EN 12210, EN 12211).
Thermal transmittance (EN ISO 10077-1 & 2; EN ISO 12567-1 & 2).
Sound insulation (EN ISO 140-3)
